This is the Princess Luna Xbox that I've had jumping around in my mind ever since I completed my Rainbow Dash Xbox 360 back in March. This Xbox is painted sparkle blue vintage 1965 Ford Mustang car paint. I used an airgun and a lot of patience. The main plexi cutout is supposed to be reminiscent of her cutie mark, and showing the 4 moon phases of an eclipse in the 4 corners. I hand etched the etching of Luna. Originally I had planned to paint "invisible" black light reactive paint over the plexi in the shape of Nightmare Moon's armor and installed a black light on the interior of the Xbox. When turned on it would turn Luna into Nightmare Moon! But unfortunately the paint was not truly invisible when painted on plexiglass and detracted from the overall image and had to be removed.
This thing is a dust/fingerprint MAGNET, but oh the glossyness...
Thanks to all the inspiration and vectors fellow deviants! For Majority of Cutie Marks For Lunar Republic Emblem For the beautiful Luna drawing that I based my etching off of.
Make a Doctor Whooves or Discorded Doctor Whooves 360 bundle and I will give you literally every bit in my bank account, piggy bank, and whatever I fish out of the laundry machine in the morning after work from now to next year
Ah the woes of being sixteen, I never seem to have any money when you put these up for auction. Oh, and were you planning on doing any sort of commisions after these sold? I can't remember if you said you were going to or not.
Most likely not, it's a lot of liability if someone sends me their 360 for me to work on, if I were to accidentally break it, it'd be very embarrassing and cost me quite a bit of money to replace. It's much better for me to buy my own 360 on my own terms and then auction it off to the highest bidder. However, I do take suggestions on what people would like to see me make.
Understandable. I can hardly imagine how much it would suck to break something on a 360 you had already bought yourself, much less one someone else had entrusted to you.
Have you considered making some tutorials for the LEDs and such at least? I figure when my wallet commits suicide upon seeing the ebay pages before the half-way mark has even hit, I might as well see if it would be possible to put my tech skills to use.
